IMILab 016 Basic is a home security camera with a 360-degree rotating panorama view that gives you complete coverage of your home when you are on the way. Full HD resolution and H.265 encoding ensure clear and high-quality video, while the advanced night-vision provides good image quality even in low light conditions. Thanks to motion detection and tracking technology, the camera will detect any movement, start recording video and push notifications back to your smartphone via the Mi Home application (available on Google Play or App Store). It also allows you to communicate with your children and pets, thanks to an integrated microphone and speaker. This small and compact camera can be placed on any flat surface, such as a table, shelf, or mounted on a wall or ceiling.

How to set up

I use it as a baby monitor. It is better than a baby monitor because I can control it from my phone and turn the camera left to right and up and down. Night view was clear. The best is the talking mode, you can speak to your baby

It has all the features that a security camera has to have. It's very easy to install, all it takes is 3 steps if follow the instructions from the app. Clear instructions to set it up after you installed and linked with the network and app. The feature I enjoy the most is the motion-detecting function and it will send alarm/notification to the phone that the app is installed on. You can also share the access with others that is using the same app, all you have to do is send them the notification and they accepted it.

It has great quality for the picture and video, I used it for monitor my son’s sleeping. It takes some time for the initial connection, the customer service is patient. My only complaint is the signal light is too bright, I covered lots of tape on it, so it doesn’t affect my sons sleeping. Generally I recommend it!
