The signal will effected by a number of factors such as the thickness of wall, obstacles inside the house, and the location of the hub.
If you have a poor signal:
1.Please try moving you hub closer to the camera if possible.
2.Please try to make sure there are no obstacles around hub.
During the setup process, the hub must connect to a router via an Ethernet cable. After setup, hub can be switched to a Wi-Fi connection from the Hub Settings > Wi-Fi settings.
But if you set the hub to Wi-Fi connection, the corresponding network transmission will become less stable, and the real-time stream may have more delays.
1.Check the camera's battery level. If it is too low, charge the battery.
2.If you recently relocated the camera which is not working, check its signal strength; make sure the signal strength is strong in the new location. If it has no signal or weak signal, please try to move the hub closer to the camera.
3.Try to remove the camera from the app and then add it again.
1.The camera's LED will flash red (for three times) when the battery is being charged, and the app camera settings menu will show battery percent.
2.Plesae try to use the USB cable in the original package and connect to a 5V2A, 5V1A USB charger. Or please try to connect the camera to the USB port on the back of the hub.
3.Please make sure the camera's ambient temperature is between 32°F (0°C) - 122°F (50°C) during charging. Otherwise, the cattery cannot be charged.
Battery life varies and depends on the number of times motion is detected, recording time duration, and environmental temperatures.
For EC4 , a fully charged camera can last for 100 days, with these usage scenarios:
1. 77°F,25°C temperature
2. 10 motion detections per day and record for 30 seconds each time motion was detected.
(Standby power consumption is included in the usage time.)
Please check the following:
1.Pull down the device list to refresh the device's status.
2.Make sure your camera is online and the battery has power.
3.If you recently relocated the camera which is not working, check its signal strength; make sure the signal strength is strong in the new location. If it has no signal or weak signal, please try to move the hub closer to the camera.
4.Try to remove the camera from the app and then add it again.
Please check if you have disabled the speaker-out on the app live streaming page.
1.Please make sure the area you want detect is located in the camera viewing area. You can test the motion detection in your app by going to My Devices > Select Camera > Camera Settings > Motion Detection > Detection Sensitivity
2.Please try to restart the camera.
3.Please try to remove the camera and add the camera again in the app.
It depends on the mounting height and angle. The sensor can detect objects moving as far as 25-30ft (8-10m) away for the straight line distance.
1.Please make sure your camera is online and the battery has power.
2.Please make sure you have enabled motion detection in your camera settings. You can go to check from the menu My Devices > Select Camera > Camera Settings > Motion Detection
3.Please make sure you have set the suitable motion detection sensitivity level.
4.If the above steps can't solve your issues, please remove the camera and add it again, and then try again.
1.Camera utilizes a passive infrared (PIR) sensor to detect motion from moving objects that emit body heat. Objects such as moving bushes or leaves in a breeze do not emit body heat relative to the environment, so these types of objects do not trigger the PIR sensor or wake up the camera.
2.Only moving objects that enter the PIR sensor's detection zone will trigger camera to start recording. To set the desired detection range, you can set the sensitivity level by going to My Devices > Select Camera > Camera Settings > Motion Detection > Detection Sensitivity
3.If the camera is placed behind a glass or weatherproof box, the PIR sensor will not be able to detect moving objects. Make sure there are no obstacles or transparents materials placed in front of the camera.
EC4 is a battery-powered camera which of course means there will be limits to its battery-life. Alerts are not recorded all the time. A balance must be found between preserving battery life and recording alerts. The camera will record motion until no human is detected or until the maximum recording time is reached, whichever occurs fitst.

3.Please make sure you have enabled motion detection push . You can go to check from the menu Settings > Motion Detection > Motion detection push
1.In some cases, if the motion sensor's sensitivity is set too high, the camera will detect events outside of your property, resulting in excessive false alerts. To avoid this, you should lower the sensitivity level by standing at the desired detection boundary and trying out the sensitivity setup guide, from the menu Settings > Motion Detection > Detection Sensitivity
2.Try to set up the activity zone to filter some of the false alerts.
3.Try to adjust the camera viewing angle.
Typical night-time video footage from security cameras is displayed in black and white. EC4 can output images in color, even at night.
The spotlight turns on in low-light settings. You can also manually turn it on or off.
